Head of Legal (Private Credit)

Rutherford is partnered with a global private credit firm that are looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance, in Dubai. The Lawyer will play a key part of the firm's expansion in the Middle East and work closely with the business development team. The role will report into a Global General Counsel in London

Responsibilities:

• Providing strategic business advice to senior management across legal, regulatory and other matters.
• Lead structuring, negotiating and executing all transactions in the area.
• Manage all stakeholders including counsel, regulators and suppliers
• Lead all compliance and regulatory related matters

Requirements :

• 10+ PQE transactional lawyer, ideally from a private credit or private equity firm.
• Strong transactional/corporate legal background
• Open to relocating lawyers.
