How to contribute to our vision


As the head of Onshore Wind Power Contract Management Execution you will lead the global contract management in execution, supporting Wind Power’s Onshore business unit within the company’s Legal department.


  • You will effectively manage Contract Managers in Execution for Wind Power Onshore globally, presently consisting of more than 15 colleagues in a newly created department. You will be responsible for the professional development of the team members with the goal to achieve the highest levels of expertise. You will ensure the team follows the business strategies as set by the business unit and effectively communicate with the decision makers in the business unit and support functions.
  • You will directly report to the Head of Legal Wind Power Onshore (SE LC WP ON).
  • You will define, enhance and implement all governance topics and reporting required to ensure the successful implementation & execution of onshore wind power contract terms and conditions to secure Siemens Gamesa´s position for incoming and outgoing claims during project execution including the operations phase. Your governance will be key to mitigating against customer and sub-supplier contract risks and claims arising from such risks. You will ensure close cooperation with all stakeholders, in particular project management and operations management, as well as the wider Contract Management community in Siemens Energy.
  • You will be responsible for the professional development of the team members with the goal to achieve the highest levels of expertise. You will need to ensure the team is enabled to follow the business strategies as set by the business unit and you will effectively communicate with the decision makers (both in legal and in the business).

You will also contribute by establishing a best-in-class team through:


  • Defining and adapting to the resource needs for the function.
  • Driving a structured and harmonized approach to contract and claim management across onshore wind power execution globally, including required software tools.
  • Strengthening and harmonizing claim strategy development and implementation across all hubs and projects, and support implementation in contract management
  • Streamline and guide documentation standards in claim management
  • Guide further development of claim reporting, links to financial forecast, and review meetings.
  • Managing the work allocation within the function.
  • Managing and being accountable for the performance of the function.
  • Managing knowledge sharing within the group.

What you need to make a difference

  • A degree in law, economics, engineering or another suitable field
  • Long-standing professional experience as a trusted advisor to management. Deep knowledge of contract management in execution and its related processes and tools.
  • Excellent leadership skills (5+ years) with a demonstrable track record of successful leadership and people management, embracing the task of leading, developing and motivating teams successfully, in particular in times of change.
  • Deep business understanding and passion to enable business transactions and to drive change in a complex environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with intercultural sensitivity and competence.
  • A winning attitude, fostering a winning spirit
  • Capability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent language skills in verbal and written English, skills in further languages are a plus.
